All verb infinitives (or gerunds) have tone pattern B except monosyllabic verbs, which curiously have tone pattern A. The aim of this paper is to determine the reason monosyllabic verbs have tone pattern A and all the other longer verbs, including monosyllabic verbs themselves extended by other elements, exhibit tone pattern B. It was concluded that the formative -ku- (class 15 nominal prefix), which is used as a tense/aspect/mood marker including the infinitive, is incapable of having an underlying H even when it is in the penultimate syllable; rather, the ultimate syllable receives the underlying H, thus exhibiting tone pattern A. However, there is one counter example which seems to indicate that the formative -ku-, starting from its use as a verb infinitive marker, has partially become a true tense/aspect/ mood marker, and can have an underlying H similar to other tense/aspect/mood markers, such as -ka- in the remote past, which has an underlying H even in the penultimate syllable conjugated with monosyllabic verbs.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10002_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"京都産業大学"}]},"item_10002_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN0006019X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10002_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0287-9727","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_10002_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"梶, 茂樹","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"カジ, シゲキ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"KAJI, Shigeki","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"21989","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2020-08-21"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"AHSUSK_HS_51_189.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"531.4 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"AHSUSK_HS_51_189.pdf","url":"https://ksu.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/10485/files/AHSUSK_HS_51_189.pdf"},"version_id":"5a0bcdb9-4394-46f8-a461-e96fe2ae5edd"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"ニョロ語","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"活用","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"声調","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"不定形","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"単音節動詞","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"conjugation","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"infinitive","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"monosyllabic verbs","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Nyoro","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"tone","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"ニョロ語の単音節動詞の声調について","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"ニョロ語の単音節動詞の声調について","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"Do we need to postulate a different tone pattern for monosyllabic verbs in Nyoro?","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10002","owner":"11","path":["976"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2020-08-21"},"publish_date":"2020-08-21","publish_status":"0","recid":"10485","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["ニョロ語の単音節動詞の声調について"],"weko_creator_id":"11","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-07-19T05:59:27.074925+00:00"}
