年に「エクトル・イポリット」を執筆している。\nイポリットの作品がブルトンの審美的な思考に対して与えた影響の射程に焦点を当てる。ブルトンにとって「プリミティフ」は西洋の合理主義的,物質偏重主義的な世界の見方を批判する有効な手段であり,イポリットの芸術は,戦後シュルレアリスムの再生に不可欠な,純粋で本質的な美を体現しているとみなされた。ブルトンのテクストを分析し,イポリットの絵画《パパ・ロコ》が1947
