In this study we have attempted to determine the structure of V_0V_1 and V_1 moiety. We obtained crystal of both the V_0V_1 and V_1 in several conditions. We are now carrying out the optimization of these crystal conditions. In addition, we observed the molecules of V_0V_1 and V_1 by cryo electron microscopy. Single particle analysis of the V_1 revealed 3-D averaged image at ~9 Å resolution. Also we obtained 2-D averaged images of V_0V_1 in which two stalks structure was clearly observed.
