Although a number of candidate genes have been identifed to be responsible for the glycosylation of DG through genome-wide analysis of patients, their physiological and biochemical properties remain to be elucidated. In this study, we used zbrafish as a model organism to establish an analytical system of the DG glycosylation. We made DNA constructs for zebrafish αDG with a 3xFLAG tag at its C-terminus(zαDG3F), and expresse recombinant zαDG3F successfully in E. coli, this year. We also prepared mRNA for zαDG3F by an in vitro transcription and observed the expression of zαDG3F in the zebrafish embryos micoinjected with the mRNA.
