| 内容記述 | 北海道では海外から導入されたセイヨウオオマルハナバチ（Bombus terrestris）がトマトの栽培施設で受粉用に用いられてきた。しかしながら，逸出した個体が野外で定着し，在来のマルハナバチさらには生態系のネットワーク維持の脅威となっている。筆者らは選抜育種の手法を用いて，在来マルハナバチの受粉系統の作出を意図して研究を進めている。本報では，在来マルハナバチの1種であるエゾオオマルハナバチ（Bombus hypocrita）の繁殖特性を考慮して選抜計画の再検討を行った結果を報告した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In Hokkaido, a foreign species of bumblebee, Bombus terrestris, has been used for pollination of tomato in green houses. However, the escaped bees from green houses have widely distributed in wild, and become a thread for native bumblebees and ecological network maintained by them. Using the technique of selective breeding, the authors intend to develop a strain of native bumblebees that could be an alternative pollinator to the foreign bumblebee. In this report, selection program was reexamined by accounting for reproductive features of queens and males in a native bumblebee, Bombus hypocrita. | |||||
