| 内容記述 | 江戸時代の天皇や朝廷については近年大きく研究が進んだが，親王（内親王・法親王（または入道親王）・尼門跡を含む）については，史料的制約もあり，十分な研究が行われてこなかった。宮内庁の資料の公開が進み，「四親王家実録」の閲覧が可能になったので，筆者はこれを調査することにし，特にこのなかの「桂宮実録」39冊・約9200コマをデジタルカメラで撮影・複写し，その翻刻に取り組み，分析を進めた。ここでは，その成果の一端を述べるが，今後，各親王の年譜をまとめ，その文化活動や役割を研究し，発表していく予定である。なお，このほか，桂宮家に関連する図書や資料の収集も行った。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The study of the Emperor and the Imperial Court in the Edo period is quite active at present. However, the study of the Sinno-Imperial Princes and Princesses and Monk Princes and Princesseshas not progressed as much, because not many documents were publically available. With the Imperial Household Agency having recently made public many documents for viewing, I visited their Archives Division, Archives and Mausolea Department and researched documents related to the four royal houses. I copied about 9200 pieces of documents related to the Katsura royal house with a digital camera, and I worked on republishing them. In addition, I collected some books and resources concerning the Katsura royal house. In this paper, I explain an outline of my findings, and supply a table of the documents of the Katsura royal house. In the future, I plan to edit the chronological history of each Shinno of the Katsura royal house, research their roles and cultural activities and publish papers related to these subjects. |
