| 内容記述 | 本研究は「PRエージェンシーにおける広報専門職のキャリア形成」に関する探索的研究である。先行研究に基づいて導き出された「日本における広報専門職はどのような経緯でPRエージェンシーに就職するか」「日本における広報専門職は大学時代に広報に触れる機会があったか」「日本における広報専門職は，広報専門職に必要な能力をどのように捉えているか」という3つのリサーチ・クエスチョンについて，年代・性別の異なる8名のPRエージェンシー勤務者にインタビュー調査を行った。その結果，「入社経緯には4種類のものがあり，年代によって差がある」「大学時代に広報に触れる機会はほとんどない」「広報専門職に必要な能力として，体系だった知識やスキルはほとんど意識されていない」ことが明らかになった。今後は定量調査による仮説の検証が求められる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This explorative research is on the career development of public relations professionals in the Japanese public relations agencies. Based on the prior researches, we develop three research questions as below : 1）how the public relations professionals in Japan got a job with their first public relations agency, 2）whether the public relations professionals in Japan knew what the public relations is at the university, and 3）what kind of knowledge, skills, and qualities the public relations professionals in Japan think is requisite for public relations profession. We conducted the interviews with eight public relations professionals in Japan and found that 1）there are four processes how they got a job with the agency and there may be the difference between the ages, 2）there is almost no chance to learn what the public relations is at the university, and 3）they rarely think the professionals should have some systematic knowledge or skills. The examination of the hypotheses with some quantitative research will be asked in the near future. | |||||
